On February 23, 2012, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 309 of the Clean Water Act (CWA) to William J. Frisby located in Union Co., Arkansas. The AO was issued in response to violations of Section 301 of the CWA. The AO requires William J. Frisby to (1) cease all discharges of pollutants from the facility; (2) remove all brine and contaminated soils from the area between the facility and N. Lapile Creek. William J. Frisby must respond to EPA Region 6 within 30 days if the AO.
