On June 13, 2012, Region 10 filed a consent agreement and final order with the City of Caldwell, Idaho (City) to resolve violations of its NPDES permit at the CityÂs wastewater treatment facility. Between December 2010 and June 2011, the facility exceeded its NPDES permit limits for total suspended solids (TSS) and total ammonia a total of 283 times. The City agreed to pay a $11,000 penalty.
