On June 21, 2012, Region 10 filed a Consent Agreement and Final Order with Akulurak, LLC (Respondent) for violations of the NPDES permits issued to the Respondent for discharges from its fishing vessel, M/V Courageous (Vessel). The Respondent has agreed to pay a $1,500 penalty. The violations noted at the Facility include failure to timely submit its 2010 annual report and metals monitoring results under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) General Permit, Offshore Seafood Processors in Alaska, issued under Section 402 of CWA.
