On June 14, 2012, EPA Region 10 issued a Stop Sale, Use, or Removal Order to Perfect Blend, LLC (Perfect Blend) in Bellevue, Washington. The Oregon Department of Agriculture forwarded to EPA, information about three products produced by Perfect Blend. EPA determined that, ÂPerfect Blend All Purpose Biotic Plant Food 4-4-2, ÂPerfect Blend Biotic Lawn Food 8-4-2, and ÂBiotic Organic 4-4-4SGN 100 /150 are unregistered pesticides; therefore, their sale and distribution is in violation of Section 12(a)(1)(A) of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). This Section makes it unlawful to sell and distribute pesticides that are not registered under FIFRA. EPA is issuing this stop-sale in order to bring the manufacturer into compliance.
