Farmers Supply Cooperative, Inc. (FSC) has violated FIFRA Section 12(a)(2)(L) by producing pesticide in an unregistered establishments. The unregistered facility was located at 550 Harrison Street West in Vale, Oregon. The facility started producing pesticide in 2011 without first being activated as pesticide producing establishment by the EPA. This violation was brought to light when Farmers Supply Cooperative submitted an annual pesticide production report (EPA form 3540-16) for this establishment that was not registered to product pesticides according to the Section Seven Tracking System (SSTS) database.
The EPA worked with FSC to registered the facility in Vale, Oregon, as a pesticide producing establishment and to ensure FCS understands the requirements if they decide to register an additional facility in the future.
