In the letter of self-disclosure, it was disclosed that the company failed to file Toxic Release Inventory Form R reports for zinc compounds for reporting years 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 as required by Section 313 of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA). EPA was informed that the company name was changed to GE Industrial of Puerto Rico LLC Arecibo Plant in 2009. The TRI Form R report for zinc compounds for 2010 was filed in a timely manner on June 28, 2011.
