EPA entered into a settlement agreement with the James Campbell Company, LLC for failure to maintain financial assurance at the Hawaiian Western Steel Wastepile, located in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. The respondent agreed to pay a $33,400 penalty to address the failure to establish financial assurance for post-closure care since the issuance of their 2007 post-closure permit.
