The action is to address the companyÂs failure to make hazardous waste determinations, obtain a permit for hazardous waste disposal, minimize waste releases to air and soil, ensure proper treatment/disposal of used oil shipped offsite, and properly manage used oil onsite at the facility, based on inspections in 2009, 2011 and 2012. Relief will include conducting hazardous waste identifications, properly collecting and managing all potential RCRA-regulated waste, ensuring delivery of the waste to proper authorized recyclers or treatment/disposal facilities, installing impervious surfaces on which to conduct waste management operations, and investigating and cleaning prior releases.
