Respondent failed to obtain firm certification, document distribution of the lead hazard information pamphlet, and keep renovation records as required by the Renovation, Repair, and Painting Rule. RespondentÂs failures to comply with the Renovation, Repair, and Painting Rule are violations of federal lead-based paint regulations. The settlement addresses compliance with the Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule and payment of a civil penalty. With regard to compliance, the Respondent has obtained firm certification, trained workers, and retains records as required under the RRP Rule.
