The United States seeks reimbursement of costs incurred by EPA and the Department of Justice (ÂDOJÂ) for response actions at the Cedarville Dams (Cedar Creek) Superfund Alternative Approach Site in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, together with accrued interest; and performance of response actions by the Defendant at the Site to address the release of hazardous substances that may have resulted in injury to the natural resources under federal trusteeship. In the proposed Consent Decree, the defendant agrees to pay the United States' past and future response costs and to perform the selected remedy for the Operable Unit 1, which addresses contamination at Mercury Marine's former Plant 2 at 2526 St. John Avenue in Cedarburg, Wisconsin.
