On February 20, 2013, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 1423 of the Safe Drinking Water Act to Sullivan and Company, LLC, located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The AO was issued in response to the violation of maintaining an injection well in a manner which could allow contaminants to move through the well into underground sources of drinking water (USDWs). The AO requires Sullivan and Company, LLC to complete appropriate actions to protect USDWs from contamination. Sullivan and Company, LLC must respond to EPA Region 6 within 60 days.
