Respondent is a large dairy CAFO in Harpursville, New York with five satellite farms, in addition to the Home Farm. Respondent is not complying with the terms and conditions of the NYSDEC CAFO General Permit. The facility failed to properly operate and maintain its manure storages and vegetated treatment areas in accordance with its O&M procedures and address clean water exclusions. The order is being issued to order the facility to immediately address its operation and maintenance issues that were identified during the inspection.
