The EPA is seeking DOJ's participation in negotiations with a group of potentially responsible parties for those parties performance and financing of the remedial action selected for Operable Unit 3 for the Evor Phillips Leasing Company Superfund Site located in Old Bridge Township, Middlesex County, New Jersey. The remedy selected for Operable Unit 3 requires injection of an oxidizing agent to treat groundwater containing concentrations of volatile organic compounds greater than the New Jersey Groundwater Quality Standards.
