Round Valley School District failed to conduct inspections; reinspections; and develop asbestos management plans as required under the Asbestos Hazard Emergency response Act (AHERA). Round Valley School District has since come into compliance with AHERA. Florence Unified School District was fined $10,100 which will be applied to the cost of coming into compliance with AHERA requirements.
