On July 29, 2013, Region 10 entered into an Expedited Settlement Agreement in connection with an EPA SPCC Inspection of the Burkeshore Marina Facility in Big Lake, Alaska that occurred in October 2012. During the inspection, it was determined that the Facility had violations based on a deficient SPCC plan and inadequate secondary containment. The terms of the settlement required the respondent to pay a penalty of $2,100 and correct all found violations within a 30-day time period.
