EPA has issued an Administrative Consent Order (ACO) addressing violations of the Clean Air Act to NLMK Indiana (NLMK), located in Portage, Indiana. In the ACO, NLMK will agree to implement and maintain a new program for monitoring and calculating their Melt Shop throughput; implement a program to timely calibrate instruments used to determine pressure differentials across the baghouse; and draft and implement Preventative Maintenance Plans. NLMK is now in full compliance with its Title V Operating Permit.
