On September 26, 2013, Region 10 filed an Expedited Settlement Agreement (ESA) with Trident Seafoods Corporation to address Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) violations at its facilities in Tacoma, Washington and Seattle, Washington. The violations included hazardous waste generator requirements, universal waste management, and used oil management. Under the terms of the agreement, Trident Seafoods Corporation certified that it has corrected the RCRA violations and paid a $5,250 civil penalty.
