On July 22, 2013, EPA ratified an Expedited Settlement Agreement (Agreement) with PLBF Global, LLC, to resolve Clean Air Act claims relating to non-road equipment.� The Agreement alleges that in 2012 PLBF imported a total of 605 gasoline-powered generators that did not meet EPA�s labeling requirements and had catalysts that were significantly smaller than the company�s certified design.� The company agreed to pay a $12,000 civil penalty and provided documentation that the generators were exported outside of the U.S.
