On July 11, 2013, Region 10 filed an Expedited Settlement Agreement which both initiated and concluded an administrative action against Chemtrade Performance Chemicals LLC for violations of CAA §112(r) risk management program requirements. Region 10 alleged that Chemtrade Performance Chemicals LLC violated several risk management program requirements that apply to its use of anhydrous ammonia. The violations been corrected and the company agreed to pay a penalty of $1,760.
