On July 9, 2013, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) to Cara Cash, Cati Cash, Dusti Osborn, and Delton Osborn(Respondents) in Justiceburg, TX. The AO was issued in response to violations of the combined uranium maximum contaminant level (MCL). The AO requires respondent to submit to EPA: 1) a detailed plan to meet the combined uranium MCL; 2) a cost analysis of the proposed plan; and 3) a construction schedule. Respondent must submit a plan to EPA Region 6 within 120 days of the issuance date of the Order.
