On September 27, 2013, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative order (AO) under its authority pursuant to the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) to Sherwood Estates manaufactured Townhome C(Respondent) doing business as the Sherwood Estates Manufactured Townhome C in Midland, TX. The AO was issued in response to violations of the arsenic maximum contaminant level (MCL). The AO requires respondent to submit to EPA: 1) a detailed plan to meet the arsenic MCL; 2) a cost analysis of the proposed plan; and 3) a construction schedule. Respondent must submit a plan to EPA Region 6 within 120 days of the issuance date of the order.
