The Settlement Agreement, requires the Respondent to do the following: repair five inoperable sub-slab depressurization systems (SDS); modify and improve ten existing SDS; install SDS at other locations identified by EPA; perform indoor air sampling upon completion of SDS installation, modification, or repair to document that the SDS are functioning properly and to confirm that site-specific removal action indoor air criteria are achieved; pay EPA oversight costs relating to the Settlement Agreement; and perform annual inspections, maintenance and monitoring.
