EPA is issuing an Administrative Consent Order (ACO) addressing violations of the Clean Air Act to Johnson Controls, Inc. (JCI), located in Holland, Michigan. In the ACO, JCI will agree to conduct emissions testing at the facility under a protocol approved by the EPA. Once testing has been completed, JCI will apply to the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality for an operating permit containing specific requirements for operating and maintaining the pollution control equipment. This agreement will resolve violations of the CAA alleged in a May 31, 2013, Finding of Violation.
