Orange Center School District failed to conduct an AHERA building inspection and develop an asbestos management plan as required under the Asbestos Hazard Emergency response Act (AHERA) at Orange Center Elementary School. Orange Center Elementary School has since come into compliance with AHERA. Orange Center School District was fined $6; 375 less the cost of coming into compliance with AHERA.
