A Compliance Order was issued to the Respondent under Section 113(a)(3) of the Clean Air Act for violations at the companyÂs Mutual Redevelopment Houses in New York, New York. The facility is an area source of hazardous air pollutants and operates reciprocating internal combustion engines (RICE). Respondent failed to meet the May 3, 2013 compliance deadline for CI engines in the RICE NESHAPs, 40 C.F.R. Part 63, Subpart ZZZZ, and the October 19, 2013 compliance deadline for SI engines in the RICE NESHAPs. The Order establishes a compliance schedule to bring both facilities into compliance by October 19, 2014.
