On October 23, 2013, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 309 and an Information Demand under its authority pursuant to Section 308 of the Clean Water Act to Jambon Boat Rentals, LLC, located in Golden Meadow, Louisiana. The AO and Information Demand were issued in response to violation of the Vessel General Permit (VGP) by the vessel Ms. Lily (IMO No. 7819618); specifically, for violation of the VGP routine inspection requirement. The AO requires Jambon Boat Rentals, LLC to certify compliance with the VGP and the Information Demand requires Jambon to provide additional information concerning voyages in water subject to the VGP and corrective actions taken regarding routine inspections. Jambon Boat Rentals, LLC, must respond to EPA Region 6 within forty days of the effective date of the Order.
