On February 10, 2014, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) to John Reed (Respondent oing business as Pecan Grove Mobile Home Park in Lubbock, TX. The AO was issued in response to violations of the radionuclide uranium maxium contaminant lvel (MCL). The AO requires Respondent to submit to EPA: 1) a detailed plan to meet the uranium MCL; 2) a cost analysis of the proposed plan; and 3) a construction schedule. respondent must submit a plan to EPA Region 6 within 120 days of issuance date of the Order.
