The Order alleges that Cameco Resources (Company), as owner and/or operator of the Power Resources/Smith Ranch Public Water System (System), has violated the National Primary Drinking Water Regulations (Drinking Water Regulations) at 40 C.F.R. part 141. The violations alleged in the Order include exceeding the maximum contaminant level for selenium, failing to notify the public of violations and to provide the EPA with a copy of each public notice and certification, and failing to report certain violations to the EPA.
