On June 4-6, 2013, EPA conducted an Audit of the Town MS4 and identified that the Town was not complying with certain terms and conditions of the NYSDEC MS4 General Permit, including failure to investigate potential illicit discharges and implement and enforce a program that provides equivalent protection to the NYSDEC SPDES Construction General Permit (CGP). An Administrative Order is being issued to order the Town to comply with MS4 General Permit conditions.
