Triax Turbine Components CAFO (RCRA)

On September 30, 2014, Region 9 entered into a Consent Agreement and Final Order (“CA/FO”) with Triax Turbine Components, LLC (“Respondent”) pursuant to 40 C.F.R. §§ 22.13 and 22.18. The CA/FO resolves violations of Section 3008(a) of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (“RCRA”), as amended, 42 U.S.C. § 6928, at Respondent’s facility located at 6519 W. Allison Road, Chandler, AZ 85226. The CA/FO requires Respondent to pay a civil penalty of $12,000 over the course of three installment payments to resolve the claims alleged in the CA/FO and is based on inability to pay.
