EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order on Consent under its authority pursuant to Section 113(a)(3) of the Clean Air Act (CAA), 42 U.S.C. Sec. 7413(a)(3), for failure to comply with Section 112(r)(1) of the CAA, 42 U.S.C. Sec. 7412(r)(1), to Cornerstone Chemical Company located in Waggaman, Louisiana. The AOC requires Cornerstone Chemical Company to conduct a third party health and safety analysis within 180 days from the effective date of the signed AOC.
