On September 15, 2016, EPA Region 6 issued an Expedited Settlement Agreement (ESA) under its authority pursuant to Section 112(r)(7) of the Clean Air Act (CAA) to Waskom Rail Yard located in Waskom, TX. The ESA was issued in response to violations of CAA 40 C.F.R. Part 68 Risk Management Program. The ESA requires Waskom Rail Yard to pay a civil penalty of $1,200 to EPA Region 6 within 45 days.
