On November 3, 2016, the US EPA performed an on-site inspection to determine compliance with the filing of Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) Form R or Form A reports under Section 313 of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) for certain regulated chemicals. The Respondent failed to file Form R or Form A reports for the processing of Methanol for calendar years 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015, which are violations subject to penalty. The company has paid a monetary penalty and will perform a Supplemental Environmental Project to aid the Newark, NJ fire department's ability to respond to hazardous emergencies.
