This is a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CA/FO) between US EPA and Argent Materials, Inc. of Oakland, CA (Respondent) for Respondent's alleged violation of the Clean Water Act regulations governing the discharge of pollutants from industrial activities point sources into waters of the United States. Respondent is alleged to have violated the terms of its NPDES permit by on at least 36 days, failure to adequately implement Best Management Practices, failure to monitor at the facility and inadequate Monitoring Implementation Plan and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP). Respondent agreed to pay a $27,000 penalty to settle the matter.
