On June 19, 2018, US EPA issued a formal Notice of Warning (NOW) to Martin Jackson of Gardnerville, Nevada, for the unlawful application of Krovar I DF Herbicide (EPA Reg #352-505) in a manner inconsistent with its labeling and that this misuse resulted in the injury and/or death of desirable pine trees on neighboring property. The NOW advises that further misuse of this pesticide after receipt of this NOW may result in a civil penalty of $2,852 for each offense.
