On April 19, 2018, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 309 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C. Section 1251 et seq.) to Shell Offshore Inc.,located in the Western portion of the Gulf of Mexico. The AO was issued in response to effluent violations. Shell Offshore Inc. must respond to EPA Region 6 within thirty (30) days of the effective date of this AO.
