This Settlement Agreement concerns the Post Road Drum Site located in Anchorage, Alaska. EPA alleges that the Site is a facility as defined by Section 101(9) of CERCLA, 42 U.S.C. Section 9601(9). EPA incurred costs under CERCLA in investigating and overseeing clean-up of the site. Pursuant to this Administrative Order On Consent, the two respondents agreed to pay EPA $50,000 to resolve EPA past costs claim. EPA announced this settlement through publication in the Federal Register. No comments were received, and EPA then finalized the AOC.
