Abbotts Fire & Flood agreed to a penalty to resolve allegations of noncompliance with the Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule. Specifically, the settlement alleges that Abbotts scraped lead-based paint from the exterior of a pre-1978 home without properly containing waste and the firm was unable to provide certain required records for two other renovations on pre-1978 homes.
