On May 4, 2020 EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) via email under its authority pursuant to Section 301 of the Clean Water Act, 33 U.S.C. 1311, to the City of Sansom Park (Respondent) located in Texas. The AO was issued in response to unauthorized discharges [or sanitary sewer overflows (SSO)] violations. The AO requires Respondent to 1) submit a list of specific actions taken to correct the violations; and 2) submit written certification to EPA that the violations have been corrected and the Respondent is in compliance.
