On August 25, 2021, EPA Region 10 issued an expedited settlement agreement and final order to
Wharton Construction & Restoration LLC located in Brush Prarie, Washington, for violations of
TSCAs Lead-Based Paint Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule occurring in Vancouver,
Washington. EPA Region 10 alleged Wharton Construction & Restoration LLC failed to become RRP
firm certified prior to performing renovation work on a pre-1978 residential property as required by the
RRP Rule. Respondent agreed to pay a penalty amount of $1,000.
