On January 6, 2022, Region 10 filed a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) to address
violations
of the Clean Water Act by Western Timber Product's Weiser facility, located at 720 Hillcrest Ave,
Weiser, Idaho 83672. Western Timber Products operates a commercial and timber manufacturing
facility that violated the CWA by discharging stormwater without a permit. Respondent agreed to pay a
penalty of $87,000. Since this facility was unpermitted, it was not conducting stormwater monitoring
so Environmental Benefits of this enforcement action cannot be calculated.
