On August 17, 2022, EPA Region 10 filed an expedited settlement agreement resolving violations of the Construction General Permit by Andersen Construction Company, located in Meridian, Idaho. Andersen Construction Company is the owner and operator of the Ten Mile Creek Apartments Phase 2 construction site. Andersen Construction Company failed to follow its 2017 Construction Stormwater General permit, and failed to implement the best management practices associated with its Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP). Correcting these violations prevents 181 pounds of sediment from leaving the site. The Respondent has agreed to pay a penalty of $2,940 and has returned to compliance.
