On 3/15/2023, EPA Region 10 issued a consent agreement and final order to the Trident Seafoods Corporation (Trident), resolving violations of EPCRA Section 313 occurring at its Akutan Shore Plant facility in Akutan, Alaska. EPA alleged that Trident violated EPCRA by failing to file Form R reports to the Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) for ethylene glycol otherwise used by the facility in 2018, 2019, and 2020. Trident has submitted its Form R reports to the TRI and agreed to pay a penalty of $ 67,690.
