Region 3 issues a Notice of Refusal of Admission for import of a misbranded pesticide by Agro Fresh, Inc. through the Philadelphia International Airport (PA) On October 24, Region 3 issued a Notice of Refusal of Admission (NORA) to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection to refuse admission of a misbranded pesticide by Agro Fresh, Inc. of Philadelphia, PA through the Philadelphia International Airport. It is a violation of FIFRA to sell or distribute misbranded pesticides. The importer has the option to export or destroy the violative product, and must provide to EPA documentation of the action. The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture was copied on the NORA, and FIFRA registration violations are exempt from EJ screen.
