On June 27, 2023, EPA Region 10 entered into a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) concerning SRC Worldwide, Inc. (SRC) in Albany, OR. SRC was found to have speculatively accumulated approximately 880 tons of anhydrous magnesium chloride, and reactive hazardous waste. At the time of settlement, none of the speculatively accumulated material remained at the facility. Under the CAFO, SRC will pay a penalty of $264,199.
