On April 11, 2023, EPA Region III entered into a Consent Agreement and Final Order with Harry Parsons D/B/A Canal Boatyard, Tradestyle Fisherman's Wharf ( Fisherman's Wharf ) resolving an alleged failure to conduct tank release detection for both of its USTs. Violations such as these can potentially lead to petroleum product leaks which can be harmful to both human health and the environment. The settlement required Fisherman?s Wharf to pay a penalty of $7,656.00. The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control is aware of this action and raised no objections. The Facility is not in an EJ area of concern.
