On 6/20/2023, EPA Region 10 issued a consent agreement and final order to Nouryon Pulp and Performance Chemicals LLC (Nouryon), resolving violations of EPCRA Section 313 occurring in Moses Lake, Washington. EPA alleged that Nouryon violated EPCRA Section 313 by failing to file a Form R report to the Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) for chromium compounds processed by the facility in 2018. Nouryon has submitted its Form R report to the TRI and agreed to pay a penalty of $8,062.
