A Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) was issued to the Albuquerque-Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority (ABCWUA) on September 26, 2023 for violations of Section 301(a) of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C. ? 1251 et seq.). The CAFO requires ABCWUA to submit a penalty payment of $72,600 within thirty days. The CAFO also requires ABCWUA to implement two supplemental environmental projects.
