On June 20, 2023, EPA conducted an CEI of Britton Industries, located in Lawrenceville, NJ. This facility primarily conducts mulching of woody products for use in landscaping. At the time of the CEI, EPA observed a mulch pile that had collapsed over the berm and into the adjacent wetlands, a sediment ladened storm drain with minimal BMPs, and vehicle maintenance without BMPs.
