On 10/17/23, EPA Region 6 issued a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) under its authority pursuant to
40 U.S.C. Section 11023 and 40 C.F.R. Part 372 to Bailsco Blades & Castings (Respondent) of Shreveport, LA. The CAFO addresses alleged violations of the aforementioned statute and regulations, for the Respondent's failure to timely report chemicals for the 2018 calendar year. The Respondent has corrected the alleged violations and will pay a civil penalty of $16,124.
